By paying for and/booking a Retreat the client agrees to the following with 'Daisy Booth Ltd' (DB)
General
You will discuss and agree the level of support you require from DB on booking and by honestly complete the booking & health declaration form. Any health conditions or illness MUST be declared on booking.
Payment
Diet
Daisy Booth Ltd Retreats provide a wholesome and exclusively vegetarian cuisine, using produce from the venue’s own organic garden which is situated in the grounds of Dev Aura. Where possible we will cater for special dietary requirements by prior arrangement only. As Dev Aura’s aim is to offer a restful retreat away from the stresses of everyday life we are not licensed to sell alcohol and request that you do not bring alcohol onsite. Please be aware we are committed to offering good wholesome food. Dev Aura offers solely vegetarian meals. We do not offer facilities for the storage of meat or fish on the premises. Please do not bring any meat or fish products with you.
Please also be aware that in accordance with current legislation Dev Aura House and Grounds are completely no smoking.
The Terms & Conditions are binding, please ensure you have read them carefully (particularly clauses 4 & 5 regarding payment and cancellations).
Pricing
All prices are subject to change. Prices are quoted to the guest on the day that payment is taken and booking is confirmed. Any change in price following a booking, including a reduction in price will NOT be subject to any refund by DB for the difference in price.
Travel
Travel Insurance
All guests must have travel insurance to cover your full retreat payment at time of booking a retreat with us. You must have adequate cover should you or anyone in your party be unable to attend the retreat. DB will not be liable for cancellations due to illness, covid19, weather conditions, travel issues or any unforeseen circumstances. We highly recommend that you purchase your own travel which includes health insurance for any international journey.
Please be sure Daisy Booth Ltd has your personal mobile number in case we need to contact you. We can arrange to collect you from Grantham Railway Station on the afternoon prior to the course start date. By prior arrangement you will be met and brought to Dev Aura where a member of staff will show you your room before the welcoming supper which is served at 7.00 pm. We can also arrange a return service the morning of departure. Please note that there is a charge for this collection/return service.
Once your transport arrangements are confirmed, you are committed to pay that cost. We cannot reimburse transport costs should you choose to change your travel plans after that time.
If there is a delay on your journey please contact us at your earliest convenience on 07876781125. Our staff will be keen to know you are okay and your arrival time.
If you should arrive late and miss the collection service, taxis are usually available to take you to Tetford. Please be aware that we do not accept responsibility for delays within the public transport services and are unable to reimburse your taxi fare should you miss the collection. If you intend to arrange your own transport to Tetford the check-in time at Dev Aura is after 5.00 pm on the afternoon prior to the course start date. As this is often a very busy day for us we ask you not to arrive before this time.

By paying for and/booking a Retreat the client agrees to the following with 'Daisy Booth Ltd' (DB)
General
You will discuss and agree the level of support you require from DB on booking and by honestly complete the booking & health declaration form. Any health conditions or illness MUST be declared on booking.
Payment
- Full payment (or minimum deposit of 50% with balance paid 4 weeks prior to the event) is required at the time of booking via card, BACS or cash .
- Please ensure to receive the Prompt Payment Price the balance is received by Daisy Booth ltd at least 8 weeks prior to the retreat start date.
- If the Prompt Payment price is not taken advantage of, the full Course Price balance must be received at least 4 weeks prior arrival. Places are limited and we operate a waiting list.
- After booking and paying your deposit your place is reserved and may mean others are not able to book. You're booking is therefore non-refundable. You can however change your retreat date prior to 4 weeks of the retreat start IF we are able to fill your place with another guest booking. There will be a charge of £250 to do so.
- If you wish to transfer your retreat booking with us to another guest this is possible but will incur a £50 admin change and must be done no less than 2 weeks prior to booking. You will need to manage the finances of this between yourselves.
- Please note that there is a supplementary charge for single occupancy of £250 per retreat plus VAT.
- In the unlikely event that we cancel a retreat, any payment received will be refunded. Please note all retreats will be confirmed 6 weeks prior to the course start date. Daisy Booth Ltd does not accept responsibility for travel costs including flight reservations incurred before the retreat confirmation.

1. Definitions:
In these terms and conditions, the following expressions shall have the meanings set out
below:
- (a) Daisy Booth Limited (DB)
- (b) deposit means the deposit specified in the booking form.
- (c) booking form means The DB Retreat booking form.
- (d) delegate(s) means the person(s) who has signed this booking form and received written
confirmation from DB that they have been accepted as a member of the retreat; - (e) retreat means the event organised by DB upon which the
delegate has been accepted to participate; - (f) teacher means the teacher of the retreat;
- (g) retreat fee means the total sum payable by the delegate to participate in the course.
2. Acknowledgement of Nature of Retreat:
- (a) the delegate acknowledges and accepts that the retreat is designed to be primarily of educational benefit and not traditional package holiday where timetables, itineraries and arrangements are clearly defined in advance. Flexibility of retreat timetables, itineraries and arrangements should not only be anticipated but expected. In agreeing to join and participate in a retreat the delegate agrees to accept this flexibility and to be prepared for variation which may arise with little or no prior notice, and acknowledges the right of DB to make alterations and variations which shall not be regarded as a cancellation for the purposes of paragraph 6 of these conditions.
- (b) DB reserves the right to vary, alter the schedule and itinerary of the retreat and other services specified in the booking form and/or other information.
- (c) the delegate hereby acknowledges and accepts that whilst DB aims to safeguard the delegate’s safety, it can not be held responsible for damage or injury caused by risks of hazards beyond its reasonably foreseeable control.
3. Force Majeure:
- DB will incur no liability for any loss which a delegate may suffer through cancellation or variation of a course or a flight or flights to or from a course due to fire, acts of god, war, terrorism, riot or civil commotion, strikes, quarantine, government or other official intervention or due to any reason whatsoever outside the reasonably foreseeable control of DB.
4. Payment:
- (a) a non-refundable deposit must be paid by the delegate to DB at the time of submitting the completed booking form to DB. The deposit is accepted as part payment of the retreat fee and will be returned or refunded only if the booking is not accepted by DB.
- (b) the delegate agrees to pay the balance of the retreat fee in accordance with the terms of this booking form and in any event no later than 60 days prior to commencement of the retreat.
- (c) failure to pay the balance of the retreat fee by the due date(s) entitles DB to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit. Any payments made by the delegate over and above the deposit shall only be returned at DB's discretion.
5. Cancellation by Delegate:
- (a) After booking and paying the deposit the delegates place is reserved and may mean others are not able to book. The delegates booking is therefore non-refundable. The delegate can however change their retreat date prior to 4 weeks of the retreat start if we are able to fill their place with another guest booking. There will be a charge of £250 to do so.
- (b) If the delegate wishes to transfer their retreat booking with DB to another guest this is possible but will incur a £50 admin change and must be done no less than 2 weeks prior to booking. The delegates will need to manage the finances of this between themselves.
- (c) in view of the strict cancellation provisions DB strongly recommends that cancellation insurance is obtained by the delegate at the time of booking and in any event not later than the date when payment of the balance of the retreat fee is due. The delegate acknowledges the importance of securing such insurance cover.
6. Cancellation by DB:
- (a) DB reserves the right to cancel any course and agrees to inform the delegate in writing to the email address supplied on the booking form. If such cancellation is due to circumstances totally within the control of DB, DB agrees to refund the delegate all monies paid by the delegate towards his/her retreat fee only and the delegate agrees to accept such refund as being in full and final settlement of all and any of DB's liability to the delegate.
7. Behaviour:
- (a) the delegate agrees to follow all of the retreat leader’s reasonable instructions.
- (b) if the delegate commits any illegal act on the retreat, or, if in the opinion of the retreat host/
teacher, the delegate’s behaviour is detrimental to the aims of the retreat, or DB, or the safety or welfare of the other delegates on the retreat, he/she may require the delegate to leave the retreat within 24 hours notice and no liability on the part of DB shall arise whatsoever.
8. Privacy:
- (a) delegates may not record &/or publicise images of the retreat or other events hosted by DB by audio, video, photography or other means without the written consent of DB.
- (b) if DB consents to the delegate recording &/or publicising the retreat or other events hosted by DB, DB may impose conditions on publications.
- (c) the delegate consents to DB recording & publicising his/her attendance at the course.
- (d) As part of DB's ongoing marketing DB will be taking pictures during the event. The delegate must declare in writing if they are not willing to be included prior to the event and be responsible for removing themselves from group photos if the delegate is not willing for them to be shared publicly.
- The delegate will comply with all United Kingdom Legislation, visas, immigration, customs and foreign exchange regulations. In the event of a contravention by a delegate of the laws of United Kingdom the retreat host/teacher shall have the right to require the delegate to leave the course and no liability on the part of DB shall arise whatsoever and the delegate will indemnify DB in respect of all damage and liability it may incur whether directly or indirectly as a result of breach by the delegate of this condition.
10. Injury, Death etc:
- (a) this section covers injury, illness or death while you are participating in the retreat.
- Please note that DB is not liable for any accident or injury occurred during the duration of your stay, and in booking with DB you are acknowledging this fact. It is essential that you take out travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat, which will cover you for any emergencies, delays and cancellations to your booking
- (b) you must tell DB and anyone involved about your injury or illness while you are on the retreat. You should also write to DB at the email address given on your booking form within one month of coming home from the retreat outlining any situation that occurred. Please include a letter about your injury or illness from your doctor.
11. Complaints:
- If a delegate wishes to make a complaint and/or claim in relation to the retreat, the
- delegate agrees to abide by the following procedure:
- (a) the delegate will ensure that the matter is first brought to the attention of the retreat teacher/host during the retreat who will seek to resolve the complaint and/or claim and the delegate will give the retreat teacher/host a reasonable time within which to resolve the complaint and/or claim before proceeding further.
- (b) if due to an unresolved serious complaint the delegate decides to leave the retreat before its completion, the delegate agrees to provide written evidence of the extent of the complaint to the retreat leader before departure from the course.
- (c) in the event of a claim for compensation the delegate agrees to lodge such a claim with the retreat leader before the retreats scheduled completion date and to provide written evidence of the extent of the complaint to the retreat leader.
- (d) the delegate agrees that under no circumstances shall DB be liable for damages or compensation arising from that part of any claim related to the assessment of inconvenience, discomfort, disappointment or loss of enjoyment.
12. Insurance:
- (a) The Delegate agrees to effect personal travel and medical insurance and agrees to be responsible for ensuring that such insurance cover fully meets their personal requirements.
- (b) The Delegate acknowledges the importance of insurance provision in respect of their spouse, dependent children and/or relatives and accepts responsibility for assessing their own personal circumstances that they personally deem to be necessary.
- (c) The Delegate further agrees to ensure that their insurers are aware of the type of travel and work to be undertaken during the retreat and accepts the insurance proposal upon such basis.
13. Waiver:
- No person save with the express authority in writing of a director of DB has authority or is empowered to waive or vary any of these conditions.
14. Brochure Information:
- All representations contained in any information published by DB relating
- to the retreat (other than these terms and conditions and the booking form) do not form part of the contract between DB and the delegate and are hereby expressly excluded. The terms and conditions of the contract between the parties are exclusively set out in these terms and conditions.
15. Data Protection Consent:
- (a) the delegate consents to DB processing data relating to the delegate for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes and in particular to the processing of any sensitive personal data (as defined in the data protection act 1998) relating to the delegate
- (b) DB may make such information available to those who provide products
- or services to DB and to regulatory authorities, governmental or quasi-governmental organisations.
- (c) the delegate consents to the transfer of such information to DB's contacts outside the European Economic area if relevant to the event.
16. Passport, Visas, Vaccinations, etc:
- (a) the delegate must be in possession of a valid passport and all visas, permits and certificates required for the entire duration of the retreat and it is also recommended that the delegate arranges whatever vaccinations are normally recommended for the United Kingdom and if the delegate chooses not to be vaccinated then DB will not accept any liability arising from injuries, death or other losses arising from failure by the delegate to vaccinate himself or herself.
- (b) any information given by DB about visas, healthcare, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment and other matters is given in good faith but without liability on the part of DB.
17. Booking Conditions:
- (a) no contract shall exist between DB and the delegate until the delegate has completed, signed and returned their booking form to the email address given on the form, and received an official email of acceptance from DB.
- (b) full details of retreat fees to join a retreat are provided in the booking form. DB reserves the right to alter retreat and treatment fees. Retreat fees are exclusive of all transportation costs to and from each retreat location.
- 18. Jurisdiction
